Description:	Manager of Billing needed for a large hospital in coastal Connecticut. Experienced Patient Accounts professional with a diverse background to provide leadership and direction for a variety of functions within the Patient Accounts Department. Under the direction of the Revenue Cycle Director, manages and coordinates the daily activities of Patient Accounts; manages and supports a staff of 15 to 30 FTEs, including monitoring of progress and performance. The expectation is to manage the billing process keeping current with Federal and State regulations. Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred Experience: A minimum of 5 years progressive management experience in the healthcare receivables field required, with a work record that demonstrates: Knowledge of third party billing requirements for hospital claims; expert knowledge of hospital billing systems, with a proven aptitude for system analysis; Meditech Magic experience highly desired.
